Clayton was born March 1, 1995, in Decatur, IL, the son of William Thurston and Kimberly (Miller) Danner. He was an entrepreneur, owning and operating Midwest Micro Greens and Green Grass Grows, LLC. Clayton was very tech savvy and smart, able to tackle any problem. He was a peacemaker and tried to make everyone happy, and was affectionately known as “Big C”. Clayton was bright, loving, had the best smile, and had the ability to light up the room and make everyone feel better. He was generous and never wanted recognition. Clayton was a mama’s boy and loved his mom unconditionally. He was most at peace when he was surrounded by nature, planting and watching things grow. Clayton was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, and especially enjoyed watching Patrick Mahomes play with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Clayton is survived by his dad: William; mom: Kimberly; and daughter: Ella Louise Thurston. Clayton loved his 7 siblings very much and was a big brother, role model, and sometimes caregiver, to all of them: Blake (Trisha), Amber, Kyler, Viviana, Carter, Valentina, Carmyn. He is also survived by his fiancée: Kari (3x); grandparents: Tina Cole, Chuck Cole, Patrick Miller, Debbi Thurston, Paul Thurston; bonus dad: Dustin Danner; bonus mom: Rosemary Drake; niece and nephew: Jackson & Layla; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Beverly Denton, Denny Denton, and Carol Justice; and good friend, Dalton McCay.

Clayton would want everyone to follow his legacy; of always telling those he loved how much he loved them.
