Obituary for Marsha Miller (Virden)
Marsha L. Miller, 82, of Decatur, IL, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 30, 2022.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m., Friday, October 7, 2022 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery at a later date.
Marsha was born November 13, 1939 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Derald and Marguerite (Suffern) Virden. She married Ralph Miller on July 28, 1957 in Decatur, IL. He preceded her in death on December 26, 2012.
Marsha retired from Millikin University as a Library aide. She was a Girl Scout Leader for a couple of generations of her family. Marsha enjoyed singing in the PTA Chorus and listening to classical music. She also enjoyed traveling, making costumes for Halloween, and going to auctions.
She is survived by her daughter, Katy (Bill) Wilson of Taylorville; son, Jeff Miller of Decatur; grandchildren: Paisley Cooper, Orlando (Brittney) Job Cooper, Israel Cooper, and Miles Cooper; great grandchild, Theodore Cooper; and sister, Debbie (Ron) German.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ralph, daughter Janet Miller, and daughter-in-law Lucy Miller.
